Oh, let the meetings begin. It's tough, being the new person, and you know you have a ton of great ideas, but you know that if you speak up, people will resent you for having new ideas. So you stay quiet, and people resent you for not contributing.

On the plus side, some of my female co-workers took me out for breakfast. Chocolate Chip muffins can go a long way to building lasting friendships. Blueberry muffins? Not so much.
