I spent Independence Day at the house of a friend. His family welcomed me in and treated me well - fussy eating habits and all. We ate like kings - kings who love food - and spent a relaxing day in Bristol, RI. At night, we headed to another friend's apartment to watch "The Lion King" (it was the first time I've ever seen it). As July 4th's go, it was right up there with 1984 - my sixth birthday, when I perfected tying my shoes and got my first Go-Bot.
Add that to a weekend of solid improv, going to church for the first time in a while, working out all three days, and finishing a good book, and you know...this was a pretty good weekend.
